About PacoMetal
The founder of PacoMétal, Patrick, began his journey with a DEP in welding-assembly obtained at CIMME in LaSalle. He then worked for several years in the metal fabrication industry, where he developed strong field experience in industrial welding and steel structures.
Wishing to go further, he pursued college studies in mechanical engineering. It was at this time that he discovered his strength in technical problem solving, particularly in mechanical design and shop drawings.
PacoMétal was born from this dual expertise: understanding the problem in the field and being able to design the technical solution before manufacturing it. Each project is thought out, planned, and executed with precision to deliver a solid and durable result.
Why Paco?
The name PacoMétal comes from a personal element that has become part of its identity. The founder, Patrick, shares his first name with his grandfather. Both used “Paco” as a pseudonym when playing video games, under the usernames PacoPAC and PacoPET.
The name naturally established itself as the company signature. It represents the continuity, consistency, and rigor passed down from one generation to the next. PacoMétal is a strong, simple, and memorable identity, rooted in values of structured work and professional commitment.
